Questions & Answers

Do you have WLAN?

We offer free WLAN in all public areas as well as in the rooms. Simply connect to the “MarriottBonvoy_Public” network. If you need a computer, our Business Center is at your disposal.

Where can I park?

Our hotel has 24 outdoor parking spaces. Use of the parking lot is possible for a fee of € 15.00 per night. If our parking lot is full, you will find public parking facilities in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.

Are your rooms air-conditioned?

For your comfort, we offer individually adjustable heating and air conditioning in all rooms so that you can always enjoy the perfect room temperature. Set the room temperature as you wish to achieve a pleasant warmth.

When can I move into the room?

Your room will be available from 15:00 on the day of arrival. Earlier arrival is only possible by prior arrangement and may be subject to charges.

Until when can I use the room on the day of departure?

Please check out by 11:00 am on the day of departure. If you would like to stay longer, this is possible by prior arrangement and subject to availability for a fee.

Can I bring my dog with me?

Dogs are welcome in our hotel. Please inform us at the time of booking if you are traveling with a dog so that we can provide you with a suitable room in the CITY category. Please understand that we can only offer accommodation with dogs in the CITY room category. There is an additional charge of € 30.00 per night for the stay – including dog bed and bowl. Your pet is welcome in all public areas of the hotel, except in the restaurant and wellness area. A maximum of 1 dog with a maximum weight of 20 kg is permitted.

Are there rooms with a connecting door?

Unfortunately, our rooms do not have connecting doors. However, if you would like rooms in close proximity to each other, we will do our best to make this possible. Please inform us at the time of booking.

Up to what age are children free of charge?

Children who have not yet reached the age of five stay in their parents’ bed free of charge. A baby crib can be provided free of charge. An extra bed has a surcharge of € 30.00 per night plus Breakfast.

Is my child allowed in the wellness area?

Children may use our pool under the supervision of a parent or guardian. We ask you to be considerate of other hotel guests. Children under the age of 16 are not allowed to use our sauna area.

What bed sizes do you offer?

In all our rooms – with the exception of the suites – the king-size beds are a comfortable 180×200 cm. In our suites, you can enjoy a particularly spacious sleeping experience with king-size beds measuring 200×200 cm.

Do you have baby cribs?

A baby crib can be provided free of charge, please indicate this when booking.

Do you offer extra beds?

We are happy to provide extra beds on request for € 30.00 per night plus breakfast. Breakfast available. Please note that not every room category can accommodate an extra bed. Please contact our reservations department. Please also note that depending on the age of the 3rd person (child or adult – from 12 years), an additional fee of € 50.00 per night will be charged for the overnight stay, plus a supplement. Are there accessible rooms?

Our public areas, including the lobby, restaurant and elevators, are barrier-free. We offer specially equipped rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms and other amenities. All floors are easily accessible by elevator. Barrier-free parking spaces are located directly at the hotel. Unfortunately, the wellness area is not barrier-free.

Does your hotel have allergy-friendly bedding?

All our rooms are equipped with allergy-friendly bed linen as standard, so that you can enjoy an all-round pleasant and relaxing stay.

Are towels and bathrobes available for the wellness area?

In your closet you will find a bathrobe and a pair of slippers per person. You will find fresh sauna and bath towels in the wellness area.

How can I reserve a table in the restaurant?

Please reserve a table at Aufrecht & Melcher by telephone (0-07144 – 88 90-100), by e-mail (info@dasaffalterbach.com) or in person at reception.

Can you cater for food intolerances or special diets in the restaurant?

Naturally, we make every effort to cater for food intolerances and special diets. Please let us know your wishes as early as possible so that we can plan accordingly.

Do you have a visitor’s tax or tourist tax that has to be paid separately?

There is no visitor’s tax or tourist tax in Affalterbach.

Do I have to leave a credit card or deposit at reception when checking in?

At check-in, we ask you to provide a valid credit card – ideally the same one used for payment. We ask for your understanding that we reserve the right to charge a deposit if necessary.

Is it possible to use the wellness area after check-out?

The use of our wellness area after check-out at 11:00 a.m. is possible in individual cases, depending on availability and occupancy on the day of departure. Please contact our reception directly, who will be happy to help you.

Do you have a pillow selection?

There are four standard pillows in your room to ensure maximum comfort. If you prefer a different pillow, we offer various models on request, such as soft, firm or orthopaedic pillows.

Where can I smoke in the hotel?

Smoking is strictly prohibited in all rooms and public areas of the hotel. For our smoking guests, we have designated smoking areas outside which you can use. These are located at the main entrance and on the bar terrace.

How long is reception open?

Reception is staffed 24 hours a day.

Where can I find more information about the hotel during my stay?

In your room TV you will find a guest menu which informs you about opening times, hotel facilities and excursion tips. You can also use a QR code to access our Guest A-Z, which contains detailed information.

Is there a safe in the room?

You will find a safe in all rooms.

Is breakfast included?

Breakfast is not included in every room rate booked. Please ask for information on arrival. Breakfast costs EUR 24.00 per person per day.

What can I do in the region?

Feel free to contact our hotel reception – they will have a few valuable tips ready for you. From bike tours to the region’s museums, there is something for everyone.

Does AMG also offer factory tours?

Factory tours can only be booked with a lead time of min. 2 weeks – however, possession of an AMG is a prerequisite here.

Do you offer free drinks in the hotel?

In your room you will find a bottle of water, a Nespresso machine and a selection of coffee capsules and Ronnefeldt organic black tea, free of charge for your stay. You will also find dispensers with free water in the lobby and in the wellness area.
