The Affalterbach.

Our hotel has 88 rooms and 10 suites, a wellness area, restaurant and bar as well as three conference rooms.

Affalterbach offers rural tranquillity combined with good connections to Stuttgart’s vibrant cultural scene. The area appeals to people who appreciate the tranquillity of country life and at the same time want to have a big city within easy reach.

Originally an apple-growing town, Affalterbach has now become a center of technical progress. Tradition and modernity not only determine the dynamics of Affalterbach, but also the dual character of our hotel.

The Stuttgart region is world-famous as the cradle of major brands, a title that reflects its deep-rooted tradition in technology and production. The spirit of the region is characterized by innovation, precision and a relentless pursuit of quality.

Bosch in Stuttgart, Porsche in Zuffenhausen, Kärcher in Winnenden, Mercedes in Sindelfingen, Stihl in Waiblingen and AMG in Affalterbach. This shows both the garage thinking and the hands-on DNA of these now world-famous players.

THE AFFALTERBACH. honors one of these quiet and modest personalities. Among the Hall-of-Fame names of the automobile, Hans Werner Aufrecht and Erhard Melcher, the creators of the AMG hypercars, are of course in the front row. Our hotel is located in the former villa of Hans Werner Aufrecht, the founder of AMG.

Of work quality quality work

It’s actually quite simple: satisfied employees make satisfied guests. Most of the time at least. In practice, this has not always turned out to be so easy in the hotel industry. As a low-margin industry, employee salaries are an unpleasant item on the cost side. At the same time, you need as many employees as possible to meet the needs of your guests. But where do these many good employees come from in times of full employment and a generation entering the workforce that is justifiably looking for meaning in what they do?
